This is a fictional article for an update experiment.

During an evening walk beside the river, I noticed a pleasant smell from a small food stall. Round pieces of takoyaki were being turned on a hot plate. I had nowhere to hurry, so I ordered one serving and watched while it cooked.

The finished takoyaki came with sauce and fine bonito flakes. I wanted to eat immediately, but I split the first piece and let it cool. The outside was fragrant and the inside was soft. A warm bite was welcome after walking in the cool air.

I sat on a nearby bench while the evening light remained on the water. The next pieces were easier to eat. Before the last one, I paused for a sip of my drink. A small tray from a food stall had turned into a comfortable break.

After finishing, I put away the rubbish and continued my walk. An ordinary day can become memorable through one small stop. Next time I take this route, I want to see what is cooking.
