This is a fictional article for an update experiment.
I stopped at a convenience store on the way home from shopping. I already had everything for dinner, but I wanted a small sweet afterward. From the chilled dessert shelf, I chose a pudding that fitted comfortably in my hand.
After dinner, I made a warm coffee and opened the pudding. The first spoonful had a gentle sweetness. Reaching the caramel at the bottom changed the taste a little. I also liked that the serving was small enough to finish comfortably.
Eating slowly with my coffee helped me forget the remaining chores for a moment. There was an unfinished book on the desk. I decided to read a few pages before cleaning up and saved the last spoonful for later.
I had not visited a special shop or bought anything unusual. Still, choosing a small break for myself felt satisfying. Next time I see the same shelf, I may try another flavour or simply choose this pudding again.
